West Lynn Veterinary Clinic is a locally owned, AAHA certified, Small Animal Clinic located in central Austin. We are looking to add an experienced and motivated kennel technician to our team. Our services primarily focus on wellness and preventative care, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. We have a positive work culture, reasonable hours and offer CE and additional training opportunities.

Skillset To Ideally Include (We are open to training the right candidate on any missing skills):

• Customer care and communication
• TPR and history.
• Vaccination and infectious Disease education
• Assisting with technician and drop off appointments
• Basic in house lab skills: ear/skin cytology, ABAXIS chemistry/CBC, blood smears etc.
• Medication knowledge.
• Monitoring and administering treatments to hospitalized patients
• Woking knowledge of veterinary clinic safety and cleaning procedures to ensure a sanitary clinic
• Ability to work as a team as well as independently in all assigned duties.
• Willingness to learn and grow with our team through team coaching, continuing education, and self-motivation

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our CSR team.

Daily operations include:

• Client communication,
• Appointment scheduling,
• Taking payments
• Filling medications
• Clerical work
• Liaison between our doctors and clients.

It is important that you are friendly, punctual, reliable, a quick learner, and able to adapt to our small team of client relations specialists. This position requires both multi-tasking and attention to detail. A flexible work schedule is required. Availability for weekend Saturday shifts (9am-1pm) are also required.

• Medication knowledge.
• Monitoring and administering treatments to hospitalized patients
• Surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring and dentistry - willing to train
